About the Health Team
The Atlas Schools Health Team is committed to supporting the health, safety, and success of every student. We provide high-quality, student-centered care, promote wellness, and respond to health needs in ways that remove barriers to learning. Guided by compassion, equity, and professionalism, we partner with families, staff and community partners to ensure all students have the resources they need to thrive - with in and out of the classroom.
Our Philosophy
We deliver comprehensive, student-centered health services that promote the well-being of our students in accordance with the Colorado Nurse Practice Act (exiting the Atlas Schools website and directed to Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies: "Board of Nursing: Laws, Rules, and Policies" website). Colorado Department of Education guidelines, and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment regulations.
Our mission is to remove health-related barriers to learning through direct care, prevention, education, and advocacy. We are committed to equity, confidentiality, and ethical practices. We work in collaboration with families, educators, administrators, and the Atlas community to ensure a safe and supportive school environment for all students.
