Atlas Prep Facts

• Atlas Prep is a FREE, public charter school.
• Atlas Prep is located at 1602 S Murray Blvd (near Fountain and Murray).
• Atlas Prep will start with 100 5th Graders on August 3, 2009 and will grow to 400 5th-8th graders one grade at a time.
• Atlas Prep offers transportation - contact us for more details.
• Atlas Prep provides all school supplies for FREE (except for backpacks).
• Atlas Prep students wear a sharp and affordable uniform.

Charter School Facts

• Charter schools are public schools.
• Charter schools do not charge tuition.
• Charter schools do not pick and choose their students or discriminate.
• There are no "test-in" requirements to attend charter schools.
• Charter school students must take the CSAP.
• Charter schools are subject to the federal No Child Left Behind (NLCB) Act.
• Charter school teachers must be "highly qualified" under NCLB.
