Atlas Prep launched on August 3, 2009 with the college class of 2021. Our hard-working scholars have made an incredible and inspiring adjustment to our high expectations. They are working harder for more hours than their peers, and they are gaining more knowledge than they thought possible.

Will You Help Support Them?

Your tax-deductible gift will go to support these scholars during their extended school day and year. Your generous contribution helps us give students all the school supplies they need for the year for free; it helps pay for fun and interesting enrichment activities such as art, technology and community service; it helps teachers stock classrooms with necessary teaching tools and visual aids. Your gift directly supports a scholar who needs your help to succeed.

• Charter schools offer a high benefit-to-risk ratio: Small urban charter schools have a very high success rate and produce a high social return on investment for prospective donors.
• Private contributions to Atlas Prep help traditionally at-risk young people succeed: A donor's financial gift is a tangible, measurable step toward improving public education--one child and one school at a time.
• Charter schools provide a superior education to disadvantaged students: Children eligible for free or reduced lunch in Colorado Springs face limited options. Atlas Prep would help these students achieve their full potential and make a difference for their families, their communities, and for themselves.
